According to a recent study, Americans are the funniest people in the world.  It would appear that the researchers have overlooked the current cast of Kabul's popular "Saturday Night Alive or Not Alive?"


The periodic table of elements has two new additions. If American high school students couldn't remember them before, what chance do they have now?  According to a recent survey, 87% wrote "earth, wind, fire, blood, sweat and tears."


Top military logistics officers at the Pentagon were so angry at Delta Airlines for charging soldiers returning from Afghanistan $2800 in extra baggage charges, they cancelled an upcoming USO tour starring Delta Burke.


A retirement home in California has obtained a license to grow its own medical marijuana.  Activities include square dancing, bocce ball, bridge and rolling your own at “Willie Nelson’s Zig Zag Meadows.” 


An exhibit at the National Archives in Washington includes favorite and least favorite presidential recipes.   Nixon couldn't stand any dish that took 18 minutes to cook, JFK's least favorite entrees were pigs' feet and bay shrimp and Teddy Roosevelt loved anything that was stirred with a big stick.
