Researchers from the University of New South Wales are hinting that the 12,000 to 15,000-year old remains of five individuals they discovered in a Chinese cave may be a separate and distinct species from man. Formal announcement of the find is being delayed until the specimens can be examined by the world’s leading geneticists, anthropologists and James Cameron.
