CLOUDY WITH
A CHANCE OF TROPHY -- As expected, the favored Oklahoma City Thunder bested
opponents the Miami Heat in Game One of the NBA Championship Finals 105 to
94. In Game Two on Thursday night,
the Heat prevailed, evening the series…
… One lesson from
this series is abundantly clear.
Apparently to insure a slot in the finals, it’s smart to name your team
after a weather condition.
LAAADY! -- Jerry Lewis collapsed at a Friar's Club
dinner at New York’s Waldorf-Astoria Hotel where he was scheduled to receive
the “Applause Award” from host Alec Baldwin...
... Jerry has recovered fully after
being treated for low-blood sugar complicated by pomade poisoning.
OH MY PAPA – While en route to film a scene for her
new movie “Liz and Dick,” Lindsay Lohan crashed her rented Porsche 911 into the
back of an 18-wheeler, claiming brake failure...
...Unfortunately, the scene is the
one where Debbie Reynolds first meets Liz after she stole Eddie Fisher from
her. To explain Lindsay's neck brace, the writers came up with a new
scene in which Debbie now breaks her neck.
TIGHT
UNIFORMS -- According to a nationwide study commissioned by Weight-Watchers,
27% of military-age Americans are deemed unfit due to obesity. And not
just the enlisted ranks...
… An appointment to West Point, Annapolis or the Air Force Academy now requires letters of recommendation from your congressman, Jenny Craig and Jane Fonda.
